Washed and graded shingle comes in a variety of colours and material sizes and is an ideal natural medium bridging the space between garden and home. Shingle can be laid loose on porous structures or bonded onto non-porous structures, the latter resulting in less material movement. Loose shingle is applied in a variety of different grades to suit the driveway's usage and shape, bonded shingle is harder wearing, with lower maintenance, and will last six to seven years. In both cases only surface renewal is required over time.
